The Ashaiman community in Greater Accra has named a street after Ghanaian dancehall/reggae musician Stonebwoy, born Livingstone Etse Satekla.
The 2015 BET winner & VGMA Artiste of the Year, who got to know about the latest honour upon his return from his recent trip to Jamaica and Norway, posted a photo of the street signpost and commented: “Just As I Touched Down… I represented for the HOOD. And the HOOD represent For Me!!!”
Stonebwoy was born in Ashaiman and began making music in his early school days in the same locality.
The CEO of Burniton Music Group is set to release his 4th album titled “Epistles of Mama” (EOM) very soon.
His next show is scheduled for the University of Mines and Technology on Saturday, March 25. It is the next on his Campus Tour after visiting Ashesi University in February 2017.
