Young musician, Charsey, is not happy about reports that a song he featured musician Nero X on is being credited to the latter instead of him.
Management of the musician says they have been inundated with calls from people requesting Nero X to perform the song, ‘Aseda’, at their events.
Aseda, released late last year, is a song thanking God for how far He has brought Charsey, born Charles Appiah.
As the song is enjoying massive airplay, the artiste and his management have been faced with a task of projecting the rightful owner of the song and reaping the rewards thereof.
Skido, manager of the artiste, explained to Myjoyonline.com that their main concern now “is about the ownership of the song because Charsey has been in the UK since the song was released.”
He said, “Nero has been playing shows with the track and because of that everyone thinks the song belongs to Nero. Charsey is being asked several times on the street, radio, TV interviews who the song belongs to.”
He cited the confusion that rocked Wisa’s Ekiki Me song which features Luther where many thought the latter was the owner of the song as “a perfect example” of their situation.
