A man suspected to have stolen a phone at Mbrom in the Ashanti Region has been lynched.
Police say the incident took place on Thursday dawn.
According to the police, the deceased was found in a puddle of blood following a call from residents.
The deceased is suspected to have been given a chase and killed after the alleged theft.
The lynching comes days after Captain Maxwell Mahama of the Ghana Armed Forces was lynched in Denkyira Obuasi on suspicion of being an armed robber.
