A man believed to be in his 40s was crashed to death by a vehicle at the Sofoline Interchange in the Ashanti region on Monday, February 12.
An eyewitness, Mohammed, who narrated the incident in an interview with Nana Jantuah on the Kumasi Morning Show (KMS), said the driver was moving at a top speed and failed to apply the brake in time to avoid knocking the pedestrian who was crossing the road by then.
He said he suspects the diver to be drunk as he was not able to articulate words properly in his speech when he was interrogated by passersby who rushed to the scene.
The body has been deposited at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital morgue.
