A Kumasi High Court has granted bail to eight persons who aided the escape of the 13 Delta Force members remanded in custody by a Kumasi Circuit Court.
This was after their lawyers filed a bail application at the High Court following a Kumasi Circuit Court’s decision to remand them to reappear on 18th April.
The eight were charged with causing disturbances in court, rescuing persons in lawful custody, and resisting arrest.
The court, presided over by Justice Francis Obiri, granted them bail with conditions including GHS10,000 each for the accused with two sureties.
