Communications Director of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Ibrahim Sannie Daara has officially welcomed president-elect Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo on behalf of the association.
The outspoken communications director of the GFA called on the president-elect to select the best hands to man the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
He said Mr Akufo-Addo is capable of selecting the best hands to promote and enhance the development of sports in the country.
“Let me convey the Executive committee warm wishes to the new elected president of Ghana Nana Akufo-Addo and his able vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia. We will like to state that we think he is capable of bringing a very competent person to handle the sports sector. Whoever he may choose we are very ready to work with him and promote the advancement of sports in the country” Mr Daara told Class Sports in an interview.
Mr Akufo-Addo beat the sitting president John Mahama and five other candidates by securing 53.85 per cent of valid votes to become Ghana’s fifth president in the Fourth Republic.
