New Black Stars head coach Kwesi Appiah will be unveiled today, Tuesday 16 May, by the Ghana Football Association at the conference room of the secretariat in Accra.
The GFA in April reappointed the former Ghana international as coach of the Black Stars Team A and B with his job officially taking effect from May 1, 2017.
It is Appiah’s second stint as coach of the Black Stars, having earlier handled the team from 2012 until the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
Since leaving the Black Stars following a poor World Cup campaign, he has been coaching Sudanese side Al Khartoum.
He replaces former Chelsea manager Avram Grant who stepped down as coach after the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
