The Ghana Football Association (GFA) has confirmed former Black Stars captain Stephen Appiah as the technical coordinator for the senior national team.
A former national team goalkeeper Richard Kingson has also been named as goalkeeper’s trainer.
Tanko Ibrahim is the first assistant to head coach Kwesi Appiah whilst Maxwell Konadu takes up the position of second assistant to complete the technical team of the Black Stars under Kwesi Appiah’s second stint with the team.
This was announced on Tuesday when the GFA officially unveiled Appiah as the coach of the Black Stars.
Since leaving the Black Stars following a poor World Cup campaign, he has been coaching Sudanese side Al Khartoum.
He replaces former Chelsea manager Avram Grant who stepped down as coach after the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations.
