Dreams FC have permitted their head coach CK Akonnor to move to Ghana Premier League side Ashantigold.
A statement released by the club read: “Dreams Football Club wish to inform [their] fans and the general public of the board’s decision to grant a request from AshantiGold for the services of manager Charles K Akonnor.
“The board took this decision on Monday following discussions with officials of the Premier League side who are making a request for technical assistance.
“Charles Akonnor, a former Ghana captain, will now proceed to conclude talks toward taking over the vacant coaching job with the Miners – where he made his name on the local scene as an emerging star.”
Dreams FC expressed their gratitude to Akonnor for his service to the football club adding that he would continue to occupy a special place in the history of the club.
