Afrifa Yamoah Ponko, a former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ejisu Juaben in the Asahnti Region, has said Ghanaians find themselves in difficult times because the Akufo-Addo administration is sleeping on the job.
According to him, industries are collapsing, the rate of unemployment is increasing and cost of food items have also gone up.
This situation, he said, is making life unbearable for Ghanaians.
Mr Ponkoh has, therefore, asked President Akufo-Addo and his government to focus on delivering the more important things that affect the lives of ordinary Ghanaians.
“Times are hard for Ghanaians under this administration, yet you have the president engaging in needles activities,” he told Chief Jerry Forson on Ghana Yensom on Accra 100.5FM on Wednesday, 9 May.
“You are collapsing industries, factories and banks, making life difficult for Ghanaians. The president is sleeping on the job.
“The NDC administration was far better than what the NPP is providing at the moment,” he added.
