President Nana Akufo-Addo has named Dr. Agnes Adu as the acting Managing Director of the Ghana Trade Fair Company (GTFC) Limited.
The Optometrist and lecturer will steer the affairs of GTFC pending the appointment of a substantive Managing Director by the Board of Directors.
In a letter written by Finance Minister Ken Ofori-Atta on behalf of the president to announce Dr Adu’s appointment, the management of the company was directed to assist the nominee carry out her mandate.
Dr Adu is Chapter Secretary of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
