Aduana Stars Chief Executive Officer, Albert Commey, has served notice the Dormaa side will make things difficult for Asante Kotoko in their last match of First Capital Plus Premier League at Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday.
He says ties against the dethroned champions have always been competitive, adding nobody should anticipate a soft game.
Kotoko are battling with relegation and they need to clinch all three against Aduana in order to stay afloat.
Mr. Commey says speculation about a likely match of convenience because of Aduana’s safe place on the league table right behind uncrowned champions AshGold is misplaced.
“There’ll be no difference as for that one they have to be assured of that. Our games have always been cagey. It has always been competitive and we’ve prepared very well to face them,” he told Luv Sports in Kumasi.
“We know they’ll be coming like wounded lions but we’re not perturbed by that. We shall give them a run for their money,” he added.
Aduana Stars trails AshGold by 6 points, and will seek to consolidate their top four aspirations with a win against Asante Kotoko.
