The veteran actor, Abeiku Sagoe, has expressed his displeasure with of some actors sitting around a table full of alcoholic beverage reportedly taken at the late Nii Odoi Mensah’s funeral circulating on social media.
Mr Sagoe who is also an aspiring president of the Ghana Actors Guild was speaking on Pluzz FM to share his thoughts on the President’s kind gesture to some aged actors.
“I think the picture with some actors drinking to stupor at Nii’s funeral is in bad taste,” he said.
Even though he is not happy with the picture, he admits, though, that those were elderly men who have the right to decide on what they want to do with their lives at a gathering.
According to Abeiku Sagoe, such photos do not paint a good picture about the actors fraternity and advised that care is taken next time to prevent such photos from getting into the public domain.
