Swansea City midfielder Andre Ayew says credit has to be given to his Swansea City team mates for his amazing start to life in the English League.
The former Marseille player has wasted little time in adapting to life in the English Premier League after scoring three goals and giving one assist in his first four games of the season.
But Ayew points to the support of his team-mates for how well has done so far.
“I keep saying that it is not about me. It is my team mates that have helped me settle very well.
I believe that football is a collective effort and I would not be able to achieve a thing without out them, so it’s really all about the team,” Ayew told Citi Sports after Ghana beat Rwanda in Kigali in the 2017 AFCON qualifiers.
Ayew is expected to return to England to play for Swansea City in their next Barclays Premier League against Watford.
