A man believed to be in his 36, Yaw Owusu has died in a well while trying to retrieve a goat from it at Atebubu Ahenfie in the Bono East Region.
According to reports, the farmer, Yaw Owusu was on his way to the farm when a woman approached him that her goat has fell in their well and therefore pleaded with him to help her get it out.
Yaw Owusu charged the woman Ghc 100 if he is able to take out the goat, however, the woman bargained and told him that she has Ghc 70 which he agreed.
Nevertheless, Yaw Owusu entered into the well and couldn’t come out again.
Residents of Atebubu were left flustered when the Fire Service pulled out the lifeless body of Yaw Owusu from the well.
