One person is reported dead and another in critical condition after an explosion at the Delta Agro Factory in Tema.
The injured person is on admission at the Legon Hospital after the fire incident at the Obolo Soap factory on Friday, August 18.
Administrative Manager of Delta Agro, Mr Ampomah, explained that the explosion occurred when workers tried to clean a tank containing dirty oil.
“According to the workers, they were trying to distil it and in the course of trying to dislodge it they had to cut an area then all of a sudden the thing exploded,” he said in an interview on Citi FM.
