The Second Ghana Renewable Energy Fair has opened at the Accra International Conference Centre Tuesday August 9.
The event, which is a partnership between the Energy Commission and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and in collaboration with the Ministry of Power, aims to create a platform for the promotion of renewable energy sources.
Over 1000 local and international players in the renewable energy sector are expected to participate in the event.
The theme for this year’s fair is: ‘Renewable energy and energy efficiency: Accelerating energy access and security’.
