Accra Hearts of Oak board member Frank Nelson has mentioned the club will not be forced into announcing the appointment of a new Managing Director following the resignation of Vincent Sowah Odotei.
Mr Odotei recently resigned from his post at the club after he was elected as Member of Parliament for La Dadekotopon.
Mr Nelson, speaking after the Phobians’ 1-1 home draw against Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs on Sunday 16 April, told the press: “We need to appoint someone who has the interest of both the club and management at heart.
“We don’t need to be in a haste to name a new managing director. We need to get on board someone who can help sustain the club and based on this and other factors, we will not be pushed to immediately name a new MD,” he added.
