The Vice President, Dr Mahamudu Bawumia has called on Ghanaian voters to vote for a President who would implement policies that will benefit all Ghanaians and not one who only thinks of implementing a 24-hour discotheque.
Addressing party supporters at a mini rally held in his honour at Ablekuma Curve in the Anyaa-Sowutuom constituency, the second gentleman of the land said Ghana is at a stage where it needs fresh minds to govern Ghana.
He assured Ghanaians that he would be better President for all so he would be proud to come back to the electorates to account for his stewardship after four years.
“Ghana needs a President who will come on board with new and better ideas and policies, not someone who can only talk about raising and distributing chicks…,” he said at a mini rally held in Ablekuma Curve in the Anyaa-Sowutuom constituency.
Ghana, he added, would be better off under a President with the mind of possibility other than one who only things of implementing a 24-hour discotheque policy.
“We want someone with a renewed mind and thinks of possibilities not one interested in implementing a 24-hour discotheque policy…,” he added.
The Vice President alluded to the kind of opposition the National Democratic Congress (NDC) offered major policies such free Senior High School (SHS), drone delivery and several other successful policies which have been implemented by this government as clear examples that the NDC and it’s candidate lack the willpower to move Ghana to the next level.
Dr Bawumia continued his tour of the constituency at the Pentecost University where he assured a gathering of chiefs, Imams, Pastors and other opinion leaders that he will do all in his power to take Ghana to the next level when becomes President.
The drone delivery system which he said is the largest in the world and significant policies which promotes digitalization will be expanded under his presidency.
