Former Black Stars goalkeeper, Abukari Damba, has admitted Ghana face a difficult task of qualifying for the 2018 World Cup in Russia but is hopeful of a positive outcome in the remaining four games.
The Stars on Sunday, 13 November suffered a defeat in the hands of the Pharaohs of Egypt who now lead the group on six points with Uganda in second position, Ghana in third and Congo at the bottom with no point.
“I must be honest with you, it will be very difficult for us to qualify but football as we know is full of uncertainty and chance. Anything can happen but it’s really going to be tough for us now,” he told Class Sports.
Ghana will face Congo in their next qualifying match in 2017.
