The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has inaugurated a 16-member National Planning Committee for the 2017 national conference.
According to the party, members of the committee are tasked to ensure the success of the forthcoming annual congress.
The Acting General Secretary of the party, John Boadu, who addressed the press at a brief inaugural ceremony at the party’s head office in Accra on Friday, June 16 expressed confidence in the committee’s ability to execute a good job.
The NPP has scheduled its 2017 National Delegates Conference from August 25 to 27.
The event is a constitutional requirement of the party that will afford the NPP the opportunity to review its activities and put in place appropriate systems and measures for its smooth operation.

Kamal-Deen Abdulai – National Nasara Coordinator
Robert Kutin – Central regional chairman of the NPP
Kwamena Duncan – Central regional minister
