Fifteen armed men dressed in military fatigues suspected to be army officers have stormed the private residence of the main opposition National Democratic Congress’ National Organiser Kofi Adams and seized all his vehicles in the company of officers from the Driver Vehicle Licensing Authority.
According to Mr Adams, who said he is out of the country, the soldiers seized three Pick-Ups – two belonging to his brother, one Land Cruiser and another car of a made yet to be unraveled.
The cars, according to the soldiers belonged to the state and were taken to the Flagstaff House. Mr Adams told Asempa FM that the soliders were led by one Captain Tandoh.
“Why should this animalistic behaviour go on?” he asked in frustration.
Mr Adams said the incident took place at his Tema Gulf City home.
Meanwhile, Mr Adams said he personally called the National Security Minister Albert Kan-Dapaah to enquire if he, indeed sent any soldiers on that assignment, but Mr Kan-Dapaah answered in the negative.
