The founder of the International God’s Way Church, Bishop Daniel Obinim has denied stepping on a pregnant woman.
If you may recall, a video went viral on social media, capturing Bishop Obinim stepping on the stomach of a pregnant woman during a deliverance session.
The video was condemned by majority of Ghanaians as they felt the rights of the pregnant woman had been trampled upon.
However, speaking in an interview on UTV’s Adekye Nsroma, Bishop Obinim, said the woman was never pregnant.
According to him, the woman had multiple fibroid and doctors wanted to remove her womb “and so after telling me her story, I prayed for her and I had the direction to step on her stomach; it was a direction from Jesus Christ but she was not pregnant”.
“…the woman; Cecilia Amihere was never pregnant…somebody took shot of just 15 seconds accusing me of stepping on a pregnant woman. I never stepped on a pregnant woman…” he said.
