Founder and leader of Heaven’s Gate Ministry, Prophet Nicholas Osei, better known as Kumchacha, has lamented over the incessant and rampant use of phones in churches.
Prophet Kumchacha in a recent interview on OKAY FM said the use of physical bibles have now diminished with congregants resorting to the use of mobile phones.
He bemoaned that this phenomenon has now inadvertently led to the trend of pornography consumption during church services.
“Now people don’t come to church with Bibles. All they come along with is their phones. You’ll be shocked to note that while you ask for quotations, people will be watching pornography on their phones,” Kumchacha remarked.
He urged worshippers to be vigilant and mindful of temptations which will lead to activities inconsistent with the sanctity of the church environment.
While recognising the advancements of the modern world, he emphasised the importance of upholding moral standards and preserving the sacredness of religious gatherings.
