Recent mixed results have left the Black Stars on the same spot they held last month on the world ladder.
Ghana are unchanged in the latest Fifa World Ranking released on Monday.
October’s ranking sees Ghana still occupying the 52nd position from last month, although there has been an increase in total accumulated points from 646 to 651.
Placed 45th in October last year, Ghana now find themselves between Venezuela (51) and Hungary (53) on the ladder.
On continental level, the Black Stars still hold on to the eighth position, above Burkina Faso (55) and Cote d’Ivoire (61) in Africa’s top 10.
Tunisia (28), meanwhile, have taken over the top spot while Egypt (30), Senegal (32), Congo DR (35), Nigeria (41), Cameroon (42) and Morocco (48) make up the top seven in that order.
On the global stage, there was no change among the top six as Germany, Brazil, Portugal, Argentina, Belgium and Poland rank in that order.
France and Spain have moved up by one and three places to the seventh and eighth spots respectively. Chile are unchanged on the ninth position.
Peru, meanwhile, have climbed into the top ten of the ranking for the first time ever following good results in recent 2018 Fifa World Cup qualifying games.
Ghana’s highest ever performance since the ranking’s introduction in August 1993 remains a 14 place in February 2008, while their worst placement was an 89th position in June 2004.
The Black Stars, in their last games, settled for a goalless draw with Uganda in World Cup qualifying on October 7 before handing Saudi Arabia a 3-0 defeat in an international friendly three days later.
On their return to action, Kwesi Appiah’s charges will host Egypt on November 12 on the final matchday of World Cup qualifying.
The next edition of the ranking will be published on November 23.
