Vice-Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, is in the Abetifi constituency to campaign ahead of Saturday’s by-election.
The NPP Running Mate has joined the Party’s candidate, Brian Acheampong and other officers of the Party who are in the constituency helping the effort for the Party to retain the Abetifi seat.
The Abetifi by-election has been occasioned by the passing of the incumbent Member of Parliament for the area, Peter Wiafe-Peprah.
The late MP, who died on Saturday, 21st May, was first elected as Member of Parliament for the Constituency in 2008 and was retained in the 2012 Elections.
