Dr. Anthony Akoto Osei, former Member of Parliament for the Old Tafo Constituency, has allegedly lambasted the government for mismanagement of the economy.
In a viral allegedly leaked audio tape, someone purporting to be the one-time Minister of State at the Finance and Economic Planning under the Kufuor government laments the impact of recent economic developments on the New Patriotic Party’s electoral fortunes.
He takes direct shots at the Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta and Vice President Mahmudu Bawumia, accusing the duo of mismanaging the economy. Bawumia is head of the government’s Economic Management Team.
Chairman Wontumi in an interview with Okay Fm monitored by Voicefmonline.com said the leaked tape is not the voice of Dr. Akoto Osei, he however said that is not how Dr. Akoto Osei talks
He stated that from the start of the audio is Dr. Akoto Osei’s voice however, alleged that the NDCs have also added their voices to make it look he is the one who did all the audio
He articulates the voice is from the leader of the National Democratic Congress John Dramani Mahama with the motive to tarnish the image of Dr. Akoto Osei
He further explained that Dr. Akoto Osei has been sick for some time now and he hasn’t spoken anywhere.
